Health and Safety
This course covers the basics of health and safety in the workplace, including risk assessment, infection control, manual handling, fire safety, and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Equality, Diversity, and Human Rights
Participants learn about the principles of equality, diversity, and inclusion in healthcare and social care settings, as well as their legal and ethical responsibilities to promote and uphold human rights.
Safeguarding Adults
Training in recognizing and responding to signs of abuse or neglect in adults at risk, including the procedures for reporting concerns and safeguarding vulnerable individuals from harm.
Safeguarding Children
This course covers the identification and response to signs of abuse or neglect in children and young people, as well as the legal and procedural requirements for safeguarding children in healthcare and social care settings.
Infection Prevention and Control
Training in preventing the spread of infections in healthcare settings, including hand hygiene, standard precautions, isolation procedures, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Fire Safety
Understanding the principles of fire safety, including fire prevention, evacuation procedures, the use of fire extinguishers, and the importance of fire risk assessments in healthcare and social care environments.
